Post Abortion Support:

“Conquerors” a post abortion healing class.  Conquerors is a support program for women suffering from the painful affects of a past abortion.  Coming in the future “Conquerors 2” a support program for men. Conquerors provide healthy, biblical principles as tools for healing after abortion.  Our safe and confidential atmosphere fosters maximum personal growth and healing.  I am, Yvonne Warren, both the Director of Brephos-Pregnancy Center and a trained Conqueror facilitator.  If you are struggling with the pain from a past abortion, I encourage you to begin your healing process today.  Your call is completely confidential.  Our group session is twelve weeks in length.  A minimal fee of $25.00 to cover materials is required. Each week we meet for 2-1/2 hours.  If you are ready to begin the healing process, I encourage you to take that first step and call “Conquerors” today.  Your call is completely confidential.  The first session will begin Aug 1nd unless there is a need sooner.  Leave a message if it is after hours at 326-0404 or e-mail.

Adoption:

Adoption is a loving alternative to abortion and parenting.  We are adopted into God's family and many throughout the Scriptures were adopted beginning with Moses.  Everybody wins in adoption.  The adoptive parents, many times, have been married for more than 5 years and have been through costly fertility procedures and many times they experience miscarriages.  They desperately want a child and feel that their family is made complete by the gift of this precious child.  The child wins because he/she is placed in a loving stable environment, provided with all the physical, financial, emotional and spiritual things needed by every child.  The birth mother wins because she has real peace of mind knowing her baby has been placed in a home with parents of her choosing.  She is confident she has provided all the things she wants for her baby through an adoption plan and then she is able to achieve the goals she has for herself and her future.

For many birth mothers, this will be the most important decision she will ever make in her lifetime.  The pregnant woman is already a mother of the baby inside her womb.  As a parent, she has the responsibility of making the best plan for her baby.  She has many questions as she looks at parenting and adoption.  We can help her look at her circumstances and decide what God's plan is concerning her and her baby.  She must put her baby first when making this decision and for some that is a very hard thing to do.

Adoption is a wonderful choice for a birth mother who finds herself in an unplanned pregnancy.  Birth mothers have various reasons why they are unable to parent.  Most want a better life for their baby, and adoption will provide that.  Many times the birth father is not around anymore and there would be no father image for their baby.  Some birth mothers feel they are not emotionally or physically able to handle a baby at this time in their life, and almost always, finances are a major reason for choosing adoption.

When a birth mother chooses adoption, we refer her to professionals that we work with.  We believe that birth mothers should be held in high esteem and treated with honor and respect.  Many different relationships can develop between the birth mother and adoptive parents.  In "closed" adoption no information is given to the birth mother about the baby or adoptive parents and the adoptive parents have no information about the birth mother.  In "open" adoption, the birth mother actually chooses the adoptive parents.  There is also a "semi-open" adoption.

We are an advocate for the birth mother.  The first time she enters our doors we join her and walk with hr through her entire pregnancy, placement and post-adoption.  The birth mother knows we will always be there for her, especially after the birth and placement, because that's when she needs us the most.
